BMW's new 3 Series sedan is now available for US orders, featuring an all-electric i3 50 xDrive with a hefty $61,500 price tag. The i3 50 xDrive promises up to 468 miles on a single charge, thanks to its advanced battery technology and powerful motor. Gasoline options include the 330 rear-wheel drive at $49,900 and the 330 xDrive all-wheel drive at $51,900, both powered by a 2.0L engine. The high-performance M350 xDrive, with a 3.0L inline-six engine, starts at $65,900 and offers dynamic rear-wheel driving modes. All models are built on BMW's Neue Klasse platform, with the first deliveries expected in Q1 2027.

Why it matters for your car

Drivers interested in high-performance electric vehicles or traditional gasoline engines have new premium options from BMW.

For plug-in hybrids, AutoScan for Windows can read standard engine and emissions fault codes through a compatible ELM327 adapter; charging-system and high-voltage faults require vehicle-specific equipment.
