Since 2008, the DVLA has conducted user research using a variety of methods to improve its services. The agency aims to develop services that are meaningful and easy to use for customers. Current research includes surveys on driving licence applications and vehicle tax payments. DVLA collaborates with stakeholders and customers to ensure services meet their needs. Volunteers are sought for an online research panel to provide customer insights.

Why it matters for your car

Understanding customer needs helps DVLA create more user-friendly services, such as online licence renewals and vehicle tax payments.
