The National Franchised Dealers Association has submitted its response to the Government’s Zero Emission Vehicle Mandate. NFDA proposes 50% to 60% zero-emission car targets and 40% for vans by 2030. The association calls for more realistic targets reflecting current market conditions and consumer demand. NFDA highlights the importance of range, payload, and charging access for van targets. Responses close on 23 October 2026, aiming to balance progress with practical considerations.
